The Aerospace and Avionics Engineering Faculties of BATC are approved by both EASA and CAAB under Part 147/66. Under this approval, the faculties conduct the following Basic Courses and examinations for Biman Engineering, as well as for commercial clients:
- B1.1 – Turbine Engine
- B2 – Avionics
In addition, the faculties are authorized to deliver both theoretical and practical Type Training and Examinations for the following aircraft:
- DASH 8-Q400
- Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 (CFM56-7B)
- Boeing 777-200/300 (GE90)
- Boeing 787-8/9 (GEnx)
The Aerospace and Avionics Engineering Faculties of BATC also support the Training Wing of Bangladesh Army Aviation by conducting various specialized courses, including:
- Aerodynamics
- Safety Management System
- Dangerous Goods Regulations
Furthermore, the Engineering Faculties provide additional training on:
- Aviation Legislation
- Human Factors
- Internal Quality System
- Internal Audit Techniques
- Dangerous Goods Regulations
These training programs are conducted in alignment with the regulatory requirements mandated for Biman’s engineering personnel.
