Operations Technical Faculty of BATC conducts training courses for Pilots, Flight Operations Officers and other personnel of Flight Operations Directorate. These training courses are divided in two phases. In one phase, there are basic courses like Cadet Pilots Aircraft General course/ FOO basic course/ Airline Transport Pilots
License course / Flight Operations Officers License course which consist of core subjects of commercial aircraft operations. In the other phase, there are aircraft Type courses like B787/B777/ B737/ Dash8Q-400 Pilots Type Technical course and SEEP course.
Different Cockpit Crew Type Technical Refresher and SEEP Refresher courses are also conducted at regular intervals as regulatory requirements. Other short courses like IFS, DGR, SMS etc. are conducted for cockpit crew and other operations personnel as per ICAO/CAAB/BIMAN/IOSA requirements.
All these training courses are conducted by the Instructors of Operations Technical who are highly skilled with appropriate training to meet international standard. They hold Instructors Approval from CAAB as per CAAB ANO1-GAZETTE Annexure 12 and CAAB circular no. CAAB/52/01/73/FI(V-14)/699. Operations Technical BATC are contributing continuously in developing skilled Flight Operations manpower for the Airlines.
